How long have I been poling for and how did I start?

I've been poling for just over 12 years. A friend found a pole class and asked if I wanted to go with her, I was nervous but thought “why not!” In the end, she decided she didn't want to go, but I still really wanted to try it So I went along to my first pole class on my own and I instantly fell in love with it. I knew I had found "my thing". I met lots of lovely people there and went every week for the next 3-4 years before I started my journey as a pole instructor. A few years later I opened my own pole studio AX Pole Studio!

What is my teaching style?

My teaching style is nurturing and supportive - my goal is to provide a fun, friendly and safe training environment for my students. I love to see my students progress in a safe and effective way so my classes are structured with lots of 1-1 help and variations to suit different abilities and styles, which I find helps students improve their technique, progress faster and reduce injury. My classes are feel-good and filled with lots of love, laughter and support.

When I’m not in the studio you’ll likely find me...

Teaching full-time means I'm a regular at my local massage place for a Deep Tissue Full Body Massage, I love to unwind at hot pod yoga, chill at home with my two cats Lewie & Luna, and spend time with my family & very cute 8 month old niece, Fae.

Heels Specialist

Teaches: Science of Heels, Aerial Hoop, Floorwork Flow and Tricks & Transitions

How long have I been poling for and how did I start?

I've been poling for around 8 years but I actually started my aerial journey with aerial hoop. It was while I was hooping when I tried my first pole class! A few years later I tried my first Heels class and fell in love instantly!

What is my teaching style?

My teaching style is best described as fun yet informative. I love to infuse a splash of sass into fundamental Pole spins and moves and I firmly believe in nurturing the unique dance styles of every individual in my classes. I am here to guide and assist my students in discovering their own personal flair, allowing them to express themselves authentically on the Pole. I particularly love helping my students grow their confidence in their Heels technique.

When I’m not in the studio you’ll likely find me...

I’m probably either creating handmade crafts for my Etsy site, going on a long walk in the countryside or chilling with my adorable pet ferrets!
