everything you need to know
Whether you are brand new to pole fitness or already on your journey, we have a class to suit you.
Pole dancing & fitness classes are suitable for everybody of all shapes, sizes, ages and abilities. We do not teach people under 18 years old.
AX Pole Studio is just a 15 minute walk away from the Nottingham City Centre, or a five minute drive. We hold group and private lessons Monday-Sunday. 25 & 27 bus routes will take you directly outside the studio. Free parking available outside.
Classes must be booked as we have a maximum of 5 people per class to ensure you get a pole all to yourself (no sharing due to COVID-19) and of course, you will have the ultimate pole dancing experience.
How do I book?

What do I wear?
Shorts and a sleeveless top are required when using the pole. Skin friction is needed to grip the pole. For the warm up, you may want to wear leggings/tracksuit bottoms and a hoody. Footwear can range from in door trainers, socks,
bare feet or your favourite heels.
Do not moisturise the day of your pole class (and the day before if you can)! This will make your body, hands and pole slippery, making it dangerous to you and others using the pole.
We are authorised X-POLE resellers - as a little thank you for coming to pole with us, receive 10% off your order at when ordered through AX Pole Studio. This includes home pole sets, clothing and more.
Grip is available to buy in studio and online.
Please arrive at least 5 minutes early to ensure you have enough time to get changed if needed. The warm up is a very important part of our pole classes and as we pride ourselves on putting our students safety first, we cannot allow students to join in the lesson if they arrive after the lesson start time.
